Headstrong Audio’s multi-stage isolation
Component racks are modular in design requiring some assembly
(quite simple) to set up. The aluminum built frame structure
is anodized in a clear, black finish. Each leg has fine threaded
steel spikes with 1⁄2” travel to dial in your
rack after its loaded. Simply use the 1/8” steel rod
(included). Place rod through holes in the tapered spike body
and turn to fine tune leveling. No wrenching, lock nuts or
spikes.
Our decks are designed to utilize the rich beauty of domestic
and exotic hardwoods with more stable layering of two different,
high-quality plywoods to control warping and shrinkage (common
to the use of solid hardwoods). This multi-layering combination
creates a deck so superior it can handle whatever the load
you place on them. All edging is exposed spline work for maximum
strength and viewable craftsmanship. We took this deck to
another level by adding four separate chambers to the underside
to increase damping properties further creating quite a defense
against destructive vibration and unwanted resonance. The
second purpose of four chamber design is to shift the weight
of deck around to counter-balance the off-center load weight
that amplifiers (transformers) present to decks causing uneven
loads on isolators, compressing one isolator while floating
the others.
This brings us to the decoupling isolators created by Headstrong
Audio. A two-part, uniquely designed, open cell urethane based
product, utilizing two different shore hardness. Our isolators
can handle light to heavy loads without compressing over time.
They get the job done! This multi-stage isolation rack has
the option of spiking one or all decks when coupling is necessary. |
